Training for MSU Youth Program Directors and Coordinators

Intended Audience:

Youth Program Directors and Coordinators, Youth Program staff, those who plan to serve as Youth Program Directors in the future, and individuals who supervise MSU Youth Program Directors are welcome to attend.

Purpose:

This Program is designed for MSU Youth Program Directors and Coordinators to use expert guidelines and advice from Michigan State University Police to be able to react and respond appropriately to incidents of active violence.

Program Outcomes:

At the close of this training, participants will be able to:

• Identify how to react to an incident of active violence;
• Identify guidelines for responding to Police during an incident of active violence;
• List strategies for leading youth program participants to survive active violence incidents; and
• Address questions with campus experts.
